The Dwarven Empire

The Dwarves, known for their engineering prowess and resilience, were the architects of an extensive underground empire that stretched across Kanturas. For thousands of years, they carved out a network of cities and connecting tunnels, collectively known as the Riven Way or Rivengroth, as named by the Elves. These structures were not merely functional but were crafted with such beauty and precision that they remained a thing of wonder even after the decline of the Dwarven civilization.

The Dwarves themselves were a sturdy and robust race, characterized by their short, stocky builds. They exhibited a variety of skin and hair colors, from the darkest ebony to the lightest hues, reflecting the diversity within their underground realms.

The Chityra, the arthropodal spawn of the demi-deity Dezdite, now infest these once-glorious Dwarven halls. Nurse Chityra: These creatures possess prehensile appendages, suited for care and nurturing within the hive.
Worker Chityra: A hybrid of the Soldier and Nurse, capable of both combat and care.
Chityra Queens: Significantly larger, intelligent, and winged, the queens command the hive through telepathic communication.

The color of their exoskeleton varies by tribe, adding a rich diversity to their appearance. This variation is not only a mark of their adaptability but also a sign of the intricate social structure within their species.
